When it comes to gaming and web3, one of the bridges between the two communities is their love for cosmetics. The customization of the visual appearance of a character and what they are wearing is a market that is immensely profitable in the gaming industry, and deeply enjoyable for the users. Now, with the advent of web3, players will also be able to capitalize on this flourishing market. 

REKT Games delivers unlimited clothing styles, ensuring that there’s something for everyone that chooses to immerse themselves into its ecosystem.  To make this possible, there are 5 types of cosmetics within REKT Games and they are NFTs that will be directly linked to the users’ wallets, meaning that they are at the complete disposal of the owner. They are as follows: 

1. Hat: Purely cosmetic. Offer no bonus.  
2. Glasses: Purely cosmetic. Offer no bonus. 
3. Top: Provide additional experience gain to the wearer.  
4. Pants: Provide additional experience gain to the wearer. 
5. Shoes: Provide additional experience gain to the wearer. 
6. Trinkets: Provide no additional experience. However, they hold game-specific perks.

Additionally, in the world of video games, some cosmetics are a deterministic factor of someone’s status, and we aim to stay true to that concept. There are multiple tiers of cosmetic items to claim, and some of them are more difficult to obtain than others. 

The following table outlines the experience modifiers as well as the tiers of cosmetics available:

As we can see, there are 5 possible tiers for cosmetics, and these can be acquired through multiple in-game means, or they can be traded on the marketplace. The price will fluctuate as it will be decided by a free market. The multiplier of these cosmetics stacks, meaning that a maximum grand total of  21% can be applied for both the character and the account of the user.
